Leen and Ria La Rivière are the founders from the entire movement, based in the Continental Art Centre, Rotterdam. From 1969 they stimulate, initiate, provide leadership. On the following pages you will start to know them. Due to their immense cultural contributions the Queen of the Netherlands enrolled them in the Order of Oranje-Nassau and that is very rare for a couple.
